For all film transfers we use a telecine projector, a device that converts motion picture film into digital video. The telecine produces an aerial image of the film which is then captured by our 3CCD HD camera. This method allows the camera to record directly off the emulsion side of the film, which produces a crystal clear, high resolution digital image.
