For all film transfers we use a telecine projector, a device that converts motion picture film into digital video. The telecine produces an aerial image of the film which is then captured by the macro lens of our 1/2 inch Hyper HAD CCD Camera. This method allows the camera to record directly off the emulsion side of the film thus producing a crystal clear, high resolution digital image.
